Why do I need a receipt to review?
Receipts prove you actually bought — whether you ordered online or visited in person. That single requirement cuts most fake, incentivized, and drive-by reviews before they reach the public.
Will anyone see my receipt?
No. Receipts are used for verification only. Public reviews show your rating, comments, and a verified badge — never your receipt image or payment details.
Can businesses delete bad reviews?
No. Businesses can respond publicly and report abuse, but verified reviews from real customers stay visible so the platform stays honest.
Do you verify every state’s business register?
Automatic matching is live for Pennsylvania against the Department of State open-data file. FILE is searchable by registered legal name and file / control number — not the shop display name, and not EIN. That snapshot can lag the live search, so a newer LLC may need its control number pasted exactly as shown (no extra zeros). The public listing uses your current storefront, even if you formed at a different registered office. Other states stay on our list — we will turn each one on when we have an official source, and we never treat an EIN as a state filing number.
